Registration is currently open for the 3rd annual Scribble House Lit Fest.
The Lit Fest will take place at Velum Fermentation in the South Side on Saturday, November 21st from 12-6pm (click here for more details). Registration is currently open for:- Publishers (small presses, lit mags, etc.)
- Vendors
- Independent authors
- Reading slots for writers
- Volunteers
- Attendees
Scribble House exists to help writters in Western Pennsylvania hone their craft and build their community.
Our next free events will be in late September: a meeting of our Publishers & Booksellers Meet-Up Group and the next iteration of our Feedback Open Mic. More details on dates for those will be posted here in late August.
Our Latest books
As of March 2026, we have two new guided prompt journals:- Unstuck! 20 propmts to break through writer's block
- Creature Feature: 28 monster, cryptid, and animal related writing prompts
